George Sammour

Dr. George Sammour is an associate professor of Business informatics at the BIT department at Princess Sumaya University for technology (PSUT). He received his BSc in Computer Science from PSUT and received his PhD in Business Informatics from Hasselt University, Belgium in 2012. Throughout his career, Dr. Sammour was appointed as the chair of the BIT department, director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation center and Vice Dean of the Business Technology School at PSUT. Dr. Sammour also served as the Dean of the Business School at AlAhliyya Amman University in Jordan. His research interests are Data analytics, Data mining and predictive models validation, process models performance analysis, activity-based forecasting models, E-learning and knowledge management. He published more than 40 research articles in International peer reviewed journals and meetings. In addition, Dr. Sammour has extensive experience in developing academic programs according to international standards; He has also been involved in many European funded projects, he has been the coordinator of an Erasmus+ exchange project for staff and students with Hasselt University, Belgium. Dr. Sammour served as the AACSB international accreditation coordinator and the head of the AASCSB committee at the Faculty of Business Technology at PSUT. Currently Dr. Sammour is the Dean of the King Talal School of Business Technology at PSUT.
