Dr. Tania Hector

Keynote Speaker, Global Head of Learning and Development Nestlé SPN

With a deep passion for enabling potential, Tania started her career as a Social Worker, eventually specializing in marriage/family therapy, before making the move to Human Resources in 1996. For the next 10 years, she had regular opportunities to apply change management principles in her personal and work life as a generalist HR practitioner in a large retailer.
The move to Nestlé in the position of Employee Wellness Manager continued a varied HR career, including Lead HRBP in Nestlé Malaysia/Singapore and Head of Talent for Nestlé UK/Ireland, returning to South Africa in 2019 as HR Director for Nestlé East and Southern Africa Region (ESAR), a region consisting of 23 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
In early 2021, Tania moved to Nestlé’s head office in Switzerland, to lead the global learning team. She holds Master’s Degree in both Clinical Social Work and Labour Law/Human Resources, as well as a post-graduate Diploma in Marriage and Family Counselling. Tania currently lives in Vevey with her husband and spends most of her free time living her other passion – working with rescued animals!
